Guys Ive had a great first half of the season hunting with all the new guys this year. Yall are good company I really enjoy it but it has been hard to get good hunts you almost have to be there everyday and get lucky but its gettin better from what ive been seein. more »

I want to thank all of you for your concerns and thoughts and prayers in recovering from my injury. I think the worst is behind me but still have weeks of recovery ahead of me. I doubt I will hunt ducks again this season but anticipate great vengeance against those loud-mouthed quackers next year. more »

Warning, for your trucks
I'm going to be very frank and brief. If I hear of a truck on any of the farm levees that aren't graveled, don't be surprised if you see a flaming vehicle on the farm that will scare the ducks.
Please check with your insurance agent to make sure there are no exclusions for fire or explosives.

Most dux I've seen in 2009. Carried out 3 limits before 8. Only 2 pits hunted on section 2.

CLAYPOOLS PIT MASSACRES THE DUCKS TODAY!!!!!
Yes, the ducks were slain today at the Claypool Pit. I have heard it on good authority that 11 limits were killed from the Claypools pit today with peak shooting hours from 9am-2pm (approx times). Several groups were cycled in and out of the pit to spread the wealth, kudos to those involved for sharing. I'm sure that hunt log entries will be forthcoming soon. more »
