God, I am bored out of my brain. Is duck season ever gonna reopen?

Hunter, or anybody else that's been over to Harrisburg since last Sunday's monsoon, has it started to dry out any? Has the water dropped enough the pits that were underwater are now huntable?

Just looking for any news.

With all the activities this weekend it was nice to hear about Antonio in the duck calling championship but to my surprise the latest issue of Field and Stream had an article on duck hunting and on page 81 there is Antonio motoring through the timber...the rich get richer! Boys, Only a mother could love this! Our new member Doug Reynolds has been posing for "Trailer Trash Magazine" for years but the first time in Waldenburg AR during the daytime! Randy, This guy rooms with us!

Here's the video of the announcement of Antonio as the winner of the contest. I won't go into the details, but George W and me figured he had 5th, 3rd or 1st place based on the 4th round call off. So it was pretty suspenseful after they announced 5th. When they announced 3rd we knew he had it in the bag which is when you hear a lot of the initial hollerin'. more »

Just thought I would share the news. My son Denver shot a mallard hen with a band. He is extremely excited. I, however am proud, but extremely jealous. All these years and i have no band! he doesn't even have a dang lanyard to carry it on.. i mean come on.. All kidding aside, it was an awesome experience we won't forget.
