Where is everybody?
Last weekend I had the day pass to hunt sunday morning.I drove to the main house from Memphis on Saturday. I thought it was odd that the lights were off and nobody was there. Figured everybody was out to eat or something.Drove to Waldenburg cause I needed to pick up some things from the place over there. Saw Hunter was at Josies and figured everybody else must be there to. Damn! Nobody was at that house either. Went to Josie's to catch up with Hunter. When I saw Hunter, he said "Hey what are you doing here?" "I'm here to go hunting." Hunter said "yeah, right...like it's hunting season or something." I looked at him bewildered...he said "you really don't know, do you?"
Who knew there was a split season??

@Auto5man
Well, Craig, if you're gonna go ahead and hunt during the split, you might as well shoot those lead turkey loads you probably have around the house somewhere. If you're gonna go down, you might as well go down in flames.

If you're gonna be a bear....be a GRIZZLY BEAR !

That split season thing is just a joke for the Rookies. I hunted Monday and Tuesday. Got my limit both days. It was so cool, I never heard another shot either day. It was like I was all alone and had the entire state to myself.
Don't be fooled by that again, call me we can hunt together.
P.S It is wise to bring the "cheap" shotgun and I'd leave the wheeler and truck somewhere else.. Oh and those zippered waders are best cause sometimes you have to get out of them quickly and run...but hey who couldn't use alittle exercise....
Dear Mr. Game Warden, This is a joke and only a joke, had it been a true story you would have recieved furthur instructions...
