It only took one year-- but I finally spent the night at TR. After a gusty shoot with Bradley and Mike J. and an invitation for a dinner of jambalaya, who could leave. Not to mention HZ's invitation to rack in his bunk-thanks. Its really not so bad once you get all the mice and rats names down and they quit crawling on you.

I regret not being able to join the soaked hunters of the morning, I was looking forward to revisiting my younger days with a good wet hunt, but the rain stopped in time for our cl
oudy-breezy shoot.

Oh and I give Andy B the best dog godfather of the year award for his time with Dacoda. That dog has a second dad whether he knows it or not. more »

Anybody know what were doing this year for youth hunt? Who's coming over? Are we going to go to the frozen catfish ponds this year and let the kids play on the 8 inch ice while the dads stand on the shores with the youth guns winging birds:)?
