First Blog of New Season
Gentlemen,
As autumn begins to tinge the leaves with a hint of color, I feel the annual stirrings in my soul,(or digestive tract, I'm never sure), to blog. Duck season must be nigh.

Blind work and teal hunting
Alright guys, when are the dates to start working on pits, and such? Seeing the rice cut in many fields is getting my blood to pumping. I am so ready for duck season! Teal season numbers were low this year. Managed to kill 61 blue wing and 3 green wing teal this season.
Pit/Blind locations
Hi all,
My name is Richard, and this will be my son (Smythe 10 3/4) and my first year at Three Rivers. I wanted to know if anyone had GPS locations to all of the pits/blinds. Seeing how tough they are to find in dry fields with a truck, more specific info might be helpful below freezing and hip deep in gumbo. more »

Hey, Fellow Duck hunter's thought you would like to know that the farmer's are cutting the Rice fields. I drove around and look at some of the pit's, looks like its shaping up to be a great season can't wait for the season to start.Got to go pack for Canada trip leaving on Oct5, will let u all know how that goes.
