Plenty of room for housing
Although triv main clubhouse is under construction in the den, the bedrooms are untouched and 20 bunks are wide open. Please don't overcrowd the horsebarn, but rather make due at the main clubhouse. If you are crowd averse, stay at triv as the water is on and the house is warm. At the moment, we have gutted the den, wired up can lights, put up new sheet rock and are painting. more »
What is too be blamed for the cold, cold winter?
Shooting Blanks...
As several of you know all I do is shoot video (Some of you have asked pointblank if I'm gay...and I'm not...although I consider Merle to be rather sexy). Let's just say that the "shooting" has been a bit sparse this year...and that's true for me as well, but only by the luck of the draw. There has been plenty of waterfowl approach / execution but I just wasn't there. more »
ice be gone, darn it
I'm tired of ice. We are currently running several wells to speed up the thaw, but farmers have advised that the ice is so thick that it would shred the tires on the tractors. At $2K/tire, it's not time to use mechanical force. Bring your chainsaws and bilge pumps as this is extreme ice. Let's get the club ready to finish out stronger than we ever have before.
See ya'll tomorrow night.
Flooded, not the good way
Wow, talk about kickin you when you're down. Discovered the pipes froze, busted and flooded the triv main clubhouse this weekend. We are in the process of repairing and getting ready, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bradley and hired crew until wew hours yesterday.
Bring furniture and anything else that you can imagine that we'll need to aid in recovery of ice storm 2010 at the riv. more »
I cant wait til the thaw

If you find it...they will come!
We drove over Sat around 9 a.m. just to get away from the big city, Me, my son, a friend of his, Dan and Steve. Packed the truck with rifles prepared to chase the coyotes. Was snowing pretty good in Harrisburg when we arrived. Drove around the entire farm and what to my eyes did appear but hundreds of Mallards keeping two holes open on West Fishpond and Claypool's. Ducks everywhere, NO kidding! more »
