Had a great talk with Randy Neely today....he made a comment that reminded me of some concerns I've heard in the past of how high South Roberts sits out of the water. What Frozen Water looks like!
Here is a good hunt, waiting on the thaw to get going. Can't quite remember which pit this was, but it was a great morning.
Another Great Hunt!
With all this talk of not having any water, I'm sure some of you are wondering what it looks like when we have plenty. Here was a picture taken at the pit (I love those, alot more character than a pin-up pic at the duck board back at the clubhouse) after a great hunt. This was a 5 man limit hunt, we just didn't have enough dry ground to lay out all the birds. more »

New Style Pit Gates
I promised a pic a few weeks ago and never got around to posting it. Here are the new gates installed on North Bridge. The cattleguard attaches to the rigid framing of one inch steel tubing. There are positive stops welded on to prevent the gates from laying on your head (like many of the old style). more »
