Opening weekend 2 years ago....Hadden 8 at the time, shot his first and second spoony! Grover, Moo and Addison were with me in Lost Pit. We were taking mallards and had a spoony circling around and all watched Hadden knock him down with a single shot .410. We were all pumped and excited. more »

Five days everyone, duck is flowing through my bloodstream! I have never been this ready!

My son, Jonathan, and a friend of his, Michael, hunting the fish ponds on the day of the Deep Freeze. Michael got his first triple, three shots, three dead ducks. I don't think I've ever done that?

The boys literally laid on the ice outside the pit!
