Ducks Ducks and more Ducks

I just returned from a two week vacation/hunting adventure in South Dakota. Saw more ducks than I EVER have up there.

The heavy spring rains flooded alot of the east side of the state and the farmers told me they had more breeding ducks than they can ever rembember having. The say South Dakota produced more ducks that Saskatchewan.

I was told us "Southern Boys" should have a banner year. more »

Work Days - every Saturday from now till opener

We've got a lot to do and help would be appreciated. Bring kids, guests or whoever you want to have help us prepare for our favorite time of the year. Bring 4 wheelers, old clothes and a smile. Return from Canada

Hey, Fellow Duck hunters just got back from the Moose jaw area of Canada. Looks like all the farmers are done, plenty of Ducks and they are fat ready to fly south was able to kill over ten different species of ducks. more »

First Blog of New Season

Gentlemen,

As autumn begins to tinge the leaves with a hint of color, I feel the annual stirrings in my soul,(or digestive tract, I'm never sure), to blog. Duck season must be nigh.

I have been to Harrisburg a couple of times already, and I want to tell everyone that Hunter Ziegler, our great leader, the Grand Poobah of Three Rivers, is working his behind off over there. more »

Blind work and teal hunting

Alright guys, when are the dates to start working on pits, and such? Seeing the rice cut in many fields is getting my blood to pumping. I am so ready for duck season! Teal season numbers were low this year. Managed to kill 61 blue wing and 3 green wing teal this season.
