Check out our new map!

Hey guys, all of our pits are shown on this map, and hunting area outlines like North 40, Beedeville 50 and Duck Pond, too. Click on the "View Larger Map" link below the map to see all the waypoints in the sidebar.

TRiv alums may especially enjoy taking note of the two most southerly points on the map!

Outrage

OK, I hate to have to bring this to everyone's attention, but justice must be served.

It is now ten days before opening day, and I still don't have my picture on our constantly scrolling website. I don't want to hear how Moo is working on something as insignificant as our hunt schedule. I want to hear when he is going to meet me for a photo shoot. more »

Pit Photos.. as requested.

Took photo with gates open for measurements. South Bridge pit is huge! the whole Ziegler family could hunt out of it. Here is Sbridge, airstrip, east fish pond, and N. Roberts in that order.

Motivation

There is nothing like a ride around the farm seeing 1000's of geese and ducks to get you ready for the new season. Yes, I saw a swarm of ducks today! Specs are out in crazy numbers too! Bird count I here is up. Should be a great season. I went out to 6 pits today and they look great. Brings back some good memories. South Bridge looks better than ever.

A few updates

We are ahead of schedule with a lot of preparation on the farm, but the last weekend before opener, we need some help. We are stringing up an additional 400 decoys and that is a lot of work. This will let us double stack some of the pits that larger spreads seem to help. more »

Rain??!!!!

My radar says it's not raining yet in Harrisburg, but it also shows there's quite a bit of red and yellow on the screen that should be hitting 3R later today. Hope the gates are in on the fields. All you guys coming this weekend be sure to bring hip boots or waders. Hopefully we'll need them while we're doing final work on pits, etc. more »
