I'm feelin it with you Egg. The fam and friends already know that week I won't be home but will be in the Burg. It will be a long six months but me and the mystery machine will be patiently waiting.

Yesterday marked the 6 month spot on the calender until opening day. If the season opens on Nov 17 of 08 this is the magic number. Every year rumors will start to roll about lower bag limits and shorter seasons, I do not see anything changing from last year. The only change I have heard tossed around is the breaks in the middle of the season.
So start now talking to your family and wives so they will understand that you will be gone the entire week of Nov 17,only to show up for some turkey and dressing and leave soon afterwards. more »

For any of you, like myself, that can't wait for opening day... just come on down to Garrison Grove... it is always open squirrel and snake season... no limit and you must have a couple of cocktails to get it tight and get it right...
