Considering the population of snows and the liberal regulations that are allowed(see attached), I think it's about time we figure out how to hunt these rascals. Call me next week if you'd like to be on the list of guys to join the limited team of triv snow goose patrol.

We smoked em up on youth days. We killed 25 ducks out of both days. Could have killed 100. We could have killed too many specks, but didn't want to be illegal. And guess what I killed my first band saturday afternoon. It was a mallard hen. Not my million dollar band I want but close to it.

Thank the good Lord for restoring electricity or "lights" as some people say, to the horse barn sometime between 4 & 5 PM on Friday before the weekend! Several of us had gone through great lengths to haul over generator and coleman lanterns ready to rough it, but the word spread quickly and we had the horse barn at close to maximum capacity. more »

Just letting all you drunken gamblers know, back by popular demand, we are having another poker night down at Andy's house this Friday night, Feb 6th. I have got a 10 man poker table, plenty of duck and rice cooked up, and mutiple beds for crashing (anti-DUI)... so bring some booze and your shotgun down to Mississippi for good times. Sorry the boys and I couldn't make it over for youth hunt this year. I wanted to tell everyone how much we enjoyed hanging with everyone. I can't think that there is a better club of guys around. Thank you to all that make it a place where I can bring my boys and friends and know there is great hunting AND great friendships. Check out this link. Abby and I are still a bit unsure as to whether to go over tonite or to drive over in the morning. Unless someone objects, we would like to hunt East Rayburn tomorrow.

It's true, there was a major ice storm around the club and not sure if we'll have power, but our kids still need to hunt and I bet ducks don't realize it. more »
