Just to lay all doubts to rest, and no, I willl not be hunting alone as it appears to look on the hunt schedule...Happy Birthday to me, literally, AND by the luck of the draw. Hope everyone has a good hunt tomorrow.

Please log your hunts if you havn't this week, I've heard of many hunts this week and yet see few hunt log entries...

Just making sure everyone has gotten the message about the GREAT FLOOD OF 09 in Poinsett Co. Really, its hard to appreciate without being there. So, you want to go hunting? It can be done as the hunt log posts of the last 2 days attest, but prepare yourself for some pumping or bailing, then rounding up decoys. Anybody missing the green stopper of their duck call, you are in luck, I have information. If this is you, please contact me by calling or responding to this post. Could be your lucky day!! (This was found on the Section 2 farm on the dump road that goes the the Roberts and Bridge Pits.

George buddy, we appreciate your tenacity and attempts to pump and hunt South Roberts, but good heavens man....be carefull!! We are simply glad that you lived to tell the harrowing tale of swamping your ARGO (RIP) while attempting to accomplish the greater good and living to tell about it? Yes, the ducks were slain today at the Claypool Pit. I have heard it on good authority that 11 limits were killed from the Claypools pit today with peak shooting hours from 9am-2pm (approx times). Several groups were cycled in and out of the pit to spread the wealth, kudos to those involved for sharing. I'm sure that hunt log entries will be forthcoming soon. more »
