Farmer Jonathan has invited whoever can make it to see a display of world record holder Benelli shooter at his hunting camp in waldenburg. A great for big or little folks. From waldenburg, head south on 49 less than a mile and his house is on the left with all the trucks. Enjoy.

Heads up. Several local hunters were checked last weekend on Claypool's farm and I have heard from two different sources that Feds are in town going around to hunting camps being very picky. Make sure birds are tagged properly and clean out the freezers of anything that isn't yours unless you want to get out your checkbook. Keep up the good work being more than legal.

OK guys, we have shifted into phase two of the season and it's time that we make adjustments to our hunting patterns. If you've got 5 people in your hunting party, send three folks to the pit that you want to hunt and send the other two onto a pit on the North side of 14. After you've done this twice and don't like the results, we'll adjust. However, I bet you that both pits will have productive hunts and we'll log in some good results. The alternative is send 5 out to a "prime pit" shoot 8 birds at best and the other pit that would have bagged 5 with two guys, goes unhunted. more »

Two options: Make a blog post with your hunts result by species and bird count, AM/PM and shooters.

Either/or but make sure you do this for every hunt as we are trying to get an exact count on harvest by the end of this weekend.

Friday night, Moo will be running tutorials on the web site for anyone that is confused.

Saturday at 12 noon is Bradley's artery stopper Gear Jammer Breakfast. If you can help out, from 10:30 AM-1PM, see Bradley b/c he needs more help.

Saturday about 1:30, the quail/pheasant hunters will be departing for their hunt where Greg Holly and professional guide Inman Coleman will be providing more good grub for the BBQ. Email me if you'd like to join us as we still have a couple more spots. more »
