Pheasant Feathers
Hey guys I'm off to Kimball,South Dakota in a couple weeks to chase Wiley the Ring-Necked Pheasant. The group always limits out on birds. 5 days 20 hunters, thats 300 Roosters. Alot of people ask me to bring tail feathers back for tying trout flies. If you'd like some feathers let me know and I'll add you to my list. No Charge of course. more »
Shotgun and loads?
Just curious, and actually wanting to get the page jumpin...so what is your shotgun choice for waterfowl and what loads do you use?
I shoot a Beretta Extrema 2, 24" Mod and always shoot 3 1/2 #2 Drylock

Whats Everybody Doing?
Okay real duck hunters think about the sport year round. My son told me yesterday he's already thinking about smackin some ducks. Hard to comprehend with temps hovering around the century mark, but logging on here and watching the pictures stream is a cooling relief!!!!

Shot heard round the world
Gentlmen, It's here, it's here.... The now famous banded hen's birthplace and origin are known.
She was hatched in 2010, banded 9-8-2010 in Minnesota, and of course her death was Poinsett County, at eh hands of your truely.
