I shall be over Thursday to hunt/work/pump and gather decoys. My pit schedule for this weekend are all in Section 2 and I will do what I can while there. If anyone else is hunting south I extend my hand to you and your team and maybe together we can share the work load.

Gentlemen of 3Riv, At last I get to hunt the "World Famous" Claypool pit on Monday with my son, and as a special treat it is my 45th birthday...so instead of cards, gifts, or the "Strip-a Gram", just pray to the duck gods that they will smile on me that day and bring forth a bountiful harvest of Mallards.

Should I fail to see many of you...Merry Christmas!

With Bruce out and the other guys in my group doing the Thanksgiving thing it will be just me and the boy on Friday/Saturday. I'd really like to hunt with a couple of other guys, or have you hunt with us and maybe strike up some new friendships. We have Lost on Friday and Berger Sat. Just give me a call, 901-493-1890

West Fish Pond is without a board. I think someone said there is an extra 16' board at the Alabama house. Just a heads up if someone is over there and has the time. Happy Holidays !!!!

Team 11 killed 7 on Saturday from South Roberts. Good water on the field, lots of beans left standing. 5 Teal, 1 Spoonie, and 1 hen Pintail.

For some reason I can't log on to the Open Season page. I and the rest of my team WILL hunt our reassigned pit, South Roberts, for Opening Day. We will also hunt our assigned pit, West Fish Pond on Sunday!

Took a little road trip today with the wife to The Riv. Drove the entire farm. All I can say is pray for rain. Things are dry after two weeks without water. Saw our farmers busting their butts up by Berger and Lost, The ONLY ducks and geese I saw were up around Claypool on the north side. more »
