Waders

Went over to hunt Thursday morning and my LaCross waders somehow weren't at 3Riv. I know it's crazy for me to think I should be able to leave them there at the house, but silly me. I don't mind someone using them, but if by chance you have them could you post or just put them back. They have a shell holder/hand warmer on the front of them. I'd appreciate just checking if you have picked them up by mistake. Very well someone may have used them to clean out the water in the 3Riv house and threw them in their truck....Thanks!

Hays and I are doing the best we can to get the house improved as quick as possible. Made lots of progress working different crews around the clock. I have personally cleaned the house for quite a while two different times and I might have thrown stuff away that looked like trash. Check the dumpster, but trying to keep a clean working environment has costs and if I was yall, I'd take anything of value out of the house till next season.
Need nice furniture before last weekend as the all new improved triv clubhouse comes back to life. Thanks for all the guys staying at the house and making due this weekend. Let's put out some bar bait from the co-op, but make sure the dogs and kids can't find it.

Comments on Pirated Stuff:

Louis, I'm right there with you. I'll add my story to yours and Bradley's. (though I have no idea who's responsible)

I've been looking for my Eddie Bauer sleeping bag for some weeks now, and found it last weekend at the TRiv house... It wasn't in its case where I left it, packed in with my new towel and sleeping clothes.

With some help from Grover, I located the towel, clothes and sleeping bag case. During the water-damage cleanup, they had been thrown in the trash along with someone's wintergreen spit cups and a couple dozen beer bottles. Thankfully the washing machine was operational.

I don't have a beef with whoever threw them in the water-damage trash with all the beer bottles and spit cups (if that's what happened). BUT I DO HAVE A BEEF with whoever used my sleeping bag, tossed my clothes and towel all over and then put none of them back after using.

To Whomever the culprit is, if your dad didn't teach you this when you were little:
1) IT IS WRONG to borrow people's stuff without permission.
2) IF YOU DO BORROW stuff even WITH permission, it should always be returned in as good or better condition than when you borrowed it.

Members, if the culprit is one of us, this stops now. We all invest too much in our club to have it messed up by inconsiderate people with no concept of manners.
We've removed members before for this kind of behavior...

If it's one of your guests, that guest is NOT WELCOME back unless you are going to teach him common courtesy and enforce it.

Got to pile on with this one.I left my sleeping bag on my bunk in my room and put the bag's stuff sack INSIDE the bag so it wouldn't get lost, and yet when I return to Triv the stuff sack was no-where to be found. The room was not affected by water damage so that was not the problem. I looked high and low (while helping you find your missing items moo) but it didn't turn up. Just like others have said, I don't have a problem with it getting borrowed or getting lost in the turmoil of water clean-up, but the problem is with whoever borrowed my bag and threw the stuff sack out on the ground, never to be seen again. I'm sure I can find a stuff sack at Outdoors, Inc., or similar store to replace it. This seems like a small thing that isn't a big deal, but the issue is the principle...if something is borrowed, why isn't it put back as found before it was borrowed?

I looked all over to find my waders a couple of weeks ago. I found them outside of George Washingtons Camper in the rain.... I asked George about the waders. George threw Addison under the bus quick. George told me that Addison had used them while hunting on the Black River and left them in the back of his truck. He did not even bother to put them back.

Addison said he did not know who the waders belonged to even though my name was written on them in two inch letters. He also complained that they leaked on him. We had a beer and i forgave him. They were soaking wet the next day and had Musk of Addison in them.

Not saying Addison has your waders but apparently he wears a size 12.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

Also are you missing some ear muffs?

That may be true, but I slept there Wed. night and looked all around....by the way, with the carpet gone you can actually hear the little feet of the mice scurrying along...

The main clubhouse is under major work right now. Stuff has been crammed everywhere while they tile, hopefully it is in a corner somewhere...
