Gentlemen of Three Rivers, I am in the shopping process for a new over and under 12ga. I own too many auto loaders and have always wanted a very good " gentleman's gun" so my hunt has started. I was hoping for some honest feed back. I see some of you adorn yourself with such guns, I'm not looking to duck hunt with it, though I may try a few times, but mainly want it for upland bird and sporting clays. Any suggestions?

What's the problem?! Hunter's guns get all the 10W-40 they need!!

Randy, since you're going to South Dakota w/ us in October you might want to wait and look at guns up there. Our friend Ken Blaliid sells new and used guns and his prices are always more than fair, and he has lots of guns. Steve and I have bought several up there over the years, and it is just kinda special to have a gun you remember buying on a special trip.

Okay, First of all you could not have found a more perfect picture for your blog. I think it should be on your drivers license...I'll see if I can get that done for ya.

And you make a valid point. It would be neat to buy a gun while there. I'm waiting to hear about a "pro deal" through Bass Pro, I can save about 700 dollars, but I don't think I can get the gun in time for the trip because I have to buy it from the manufacturer.

I have a Beretta White Onyx 12ga w/ 14 Briley extended choke tubes in mint condition with case if interested. I have too many 12 guages and just picked up a Beretta 28ga.

from someone who has bought a gun from greg, buy it if it's close to what you like and you'll be happy. Love my 10 ga. he I got from him last year and was better than promised and doesn't miss.

Never buy a gun from Hunter, or sell him a gun you don't want to see used as a boat paddle or pry bar.

It's holding up nicely after 1/2 of a season and a few cases through it.
