Great Opening Top 10

I thought it fitting to list my top 10 of the opening weekend with some comments. Been a slow day at the office, so I thought what the hell throw these out here and see if you agree or disagree.

#10 - DRIVING UP TO THE HOUSE ON FRIDAY AND SEEING ALL THE TRUCK/4WHEELERS READY TO GO!

#9 - LISTENING TO HUNTER SAY ONCE AGAIN, "GUYS, 09/10, IS GOING TO BE THE BEST YEAR YET!" God love you Hunter.

#8 - FOOD...FOOD....FOOD! I want to thank Stiles and all the guys that worked so hard for some great chow the whole weekend. You guys really did a great job and once again I needed a bottle of pepto due how much I ate.

#7 - HEARING ADDISON COMPLAIN OF GETTING 2 DUCKS AT THE 40 WHEN HE GOT UP AT 4 AM! The best part about it is I didn't do much better but still got 3 times as many ducks than Addison and that's saying alot.

#6 - WATCHING ANCHORMAN ONCE AGAIN AND REALLY NOT HEARING THE MOVIE BECAUSE MOST OF THE GUYS, I.E. BRADLEY, KNOWS THE LINES SO MUCH THAT HE SAYS THEM BEFORE WE ACTUALLY HEAR THEM.

#5 - THAT BRUCE ISN'T ANY WORSE OFF! Bruce, we have a dentist, oral surgeon and orthodontist in the club. We should have just taken you back to the shop and got you fixed up back there! In all seriousness, you are in our prayers and hope you can get back over sooner than later.

#4 - SEEING THE VIDEO! That video is really incredible. To everyone involved, you did a great job capturing not only great hunting but the persona of our club!

#3 - SITTING IN THAT PIT FOR THE FIRST TIME HOLDING MY GUN! I know we all would say it was pretty slow with not many birds, but that will change. Felt more like the opening of teal season to be quite honest, but still was great sitting in that pit opening morning.

#2 - BEING STARTLED FROM A DEEP SLEEP NOT BY MY ALARM, BUT GEORGE WASHINGTON BEATING ON MY DAMN DOOR LOOKING FOR STILES OPENING MORNING! George, brother, you got find out where someone is sleeping THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!

#1 - BEING WITH MY BOYS AS MANY DAYS AS I CAN HUNTING DUCKS AND MAKING MEMORIES! Sounds sappy I know, but truthfully this is the main reason I hunt, to spend time with them and seeing their eyes light up when a big group comes in on them(didn't happen this weekend, but know it's around the corner)!

Sorry so long, but just had some time to reflect back on a great start to the season. Great meeting all the new guys and seeing all you farts I haven't seen in a while....
