Gettin' After It
That's just one description I have for those of us who hunted every day the opening week (Egg, Mouse, Vern and me). We had a great time bustin' birds in the chops. A real highlight was the lack of the "mah-velous" shoveler. This was by far the best opening run I have had on "big ducks" in quite while.

Yup, what an awesome opening week we had! Thanks to the Reddmann's for getting the water pumped up as we still haven't had a water rising rain to date. It was nice to have such mild, but yet cool weather as well. Hopefully, we'll have record breaking log posted to the site soon to share the results.
