Kink Road Fire

Ugh, not sure what caused it, but our new addition to club lodging(kink road house) burned early this morning. I got a call from the owner and their great little farmhouse is no longer with us. Pretty sad since they he was reared there. I'm heading over to see how bad it is, but it doesn't sound good. more »

Delta Waterfowl Banquet Tonight

Come to the biggest party for the ducks in the country. Same place, same time, same raffle girls, better raffles and live auction. All new this year is the Delta Classic-a duck hunting competition for the first 5 teams to sign up.

If you're looking for a spot on Sunday AM, call my cell Saturday night for a report/directions, b/c Grover and I will be scouting sat. afternoon for a spot near the club. We've got a few spots to check, a fresh cut corn field and a couple reservoirs. No promises of volumes of birds, but if you're looking to get out and enjoy the pretty weather, we'll have somewhere to go for no cost.

AR Duck Season Dates Set - Check it out

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas’ duck hunting season will open Saturday, Nov. 20, this year and run the maximum of 60 days in three segments, the state Game and Fish Commission decided today.

The 2010-2011 duck hunt will be the 16th straight year with the 60-day format, which is set by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. more »
