I have Shop reserved for Thursday, Jan. 19. I'd planned to hunt Thurs. morn. However, due to the hardheadedness of a fellow attorney who doesn't understand how important the last few weeks of the season are, I have to be in court Thurs. morn.

Hunter, just read your blog re: pumps, simple to operate, check oil, etc.

Having recently had trouble with my own pump, which led to total pump failure, I can only assume your remarks about how simple these pumps are to operate, and how they need oil, are insidious and nefarious efforts on your part to hold me up to ridicule before 3R and the world. more »

For those of you who may have scoffed at my little snow poem, please take note of the weather forecast to the right on our website. You will see there is a chance of snow on Thursday the 12th. I have no doubt that is directly related to my call upon the Snow Gods.

Hey Guys,

My crew will be over there this weekend. Can anybody give me an update re: the pits? Are they all pumped out now? Is Berger still dry? Is Yankee back in the water yet? Has it finally quit raining in Arkansas? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do we have hunger in a world of plenty?

I'll settle for some word on the pits.
