After hearing the stories of the argo rides I thought I had to give it a whirl...Mac says mine was a 2, compared to Jasons. Thanks for the trip Mac....Oh Yeah, If Mac says move the decoys.. Do It.......

Please leave at least 2 bricks buring (that would be medium to the New guys)in the heaters at the house if it is going to be below 25. Make sure all doors to bedrooms and bathrooms are open as well. You could have floated decoys with an 18 inch weight in the den 3 years ago after a hard freeze. We dont need busted pipes. Allen is the only guy in the club who knows how to fix that stuff.

Please be aware that if you are hunting today or tomorrow in H-burg, make sure that you plan on bustin up 1 to 1 1/2 inch ice.

It got pretty cold last night and it will be about 18-20 degrees tonight. I just spoke with Andy Garrison and he reported seeing very few birds this morning.

With that said, keep in mind that after a little thaw, we should be seeing some new birds moving into the area.

Thus, make sure you are around later this week as we continue to seek to thin out the wild duck population!

Drs Terry and Clarissa Turner also known as Double T and his hot wife have just had a 9 lb 14oz little boy. Dont ask me the name because i am calling him LIL Double T.

for the guys new to pit hunting, just a heads up. What usually happens after a hard freeze is good hunting as ducks are hungry to get back into the fields when they thaw and look for ducks in places that they haven't been using. Ie slash water and the corn field. Break up the ice the night before and sometimes our best hunts take place. The question is how long will it take to thaw. Watch the weather and good luck.

Several world records were set this past weekend at Three Rivers. The first and foremost record would be............ Where the hell is everbody. The main clubhouse had me, Brian Estes and Mack Warr for Saturday Night. Least people ever in the clubhouse. Second record is my pit both Saturday and Sunday shot more ducks than anybody elses.
