The time is NOW
As you all know we have been dealing with ice and cold temps. while the hunting has been great through out this cold snap the thaw started today and things should be fairly unlocked by tomorrow afternoon! The ducks have had a shortage of food due to the ice. Once we have open water the feeding frenzy should start and the hunting could be great!!
Tomorrow morning
Hey guys, I had to run to memphis for bball games, xmas tree and truck repair. I'll be over mid morning to hunt draw @ Claypool Lane. First guy to reply to this blog post is welcome to claim the blind till I make it over. I'll text when I'm an hour out so you'll have time to get to the cafe for warm biscuits.
See ya'll soon, miss camp and icy roads:)

We had an EPIC hunt in the North Chuckwagon today!
Highlights:
- We had a stiff north wind most of the day, but just sunshine instead of the vicious sleet from yesterday!
- Our primary retrievers were kids today, since the ice was too scary for dogs.

Great time at 3Rivers during first week duck hunting.
My boys, Nathan and Brett, and I had a great first week at 3 Rivers. We didn't limit out any days but had a blast being outdoors, shooting some ducks and viewing some awesome sights. Not been a big fan of getting up at 4:30 am, but it was definitely worth it. Enjoyed hunting with our new team members, Heath and his son Hunter, as well as with Mick. more »
