Great work

We got alot accomplished this weekend, and i know there is alot more to go. Just to keep ya'll updated, ducks and specks are making their way here. The past two days i have seen thousands, and just to clue you in a cold front has moved through today 10-19-10. So more are being pushed, get your seatbelts on and get ready for some action. Anybody that has water this year will be on the ducks.

Unofficial Work Weekend This Weekend

If anyone is not busy, Stiles/Nathan could use all hands on deck to help with the pit tops. Don't ask, just show up at the shop behind triv clubhouse between Saturday at 1 and sunday whenever Stiles runs out of material. We need everything from folks to watch young kids as they get dusty and stay away from dangerous equipment to folks grinding, cutting and welding. more »

SS Surface Drive in LA

If anyone is driving a PU anywhere near Louisiana in the next couple of weeks, I need a small boat hauled to Harrisburg. I'd be willing to pitch in some gas money. This baby will help with picking up decoys if we have another flood like last season. I'm still finding stray decoys on the farm.

1 month

we have one month until speck season , then its duck season. hurry up ducks and geese, get here. It's going to be a great season guys, i can feel it!

T-riv house

This past weekend was a good assessment of what we have to pull off before opening weekend. We have some great guys that have kicked in and now we can kick it up a notch (ba- Bam). Nathan Tucker (if you don't know him- you will) is our local contact for help with the porch and our fire pit as well as the interior updates. more »

Gulf coast

Read up in a magazine that louisianna and other coastal states will have a bad season this year. The oil spill may have hurt the wintering grounds of the birds, and may have destroyed many of the habitats they have been going to for thousands of years. Post some comments to tell me what you think
