Eggs...it WAS an awesome work day. Thanks to everyone for a great turn out of manpower and productivity. I think we accomplished more in one day than ever before.
Section 2 was more or less completed with the following Pits riced, deep cleaned and decoys put out: Section Two, Yankee, North Bridge, South Bridge, and South Roberts. North Roberts will still need some work after being reset in the ground. Housepit has had no work done yet.
North of 214 in the Claypool area the following work was completed: Alabama (decoys out/brushed/NEEDS CLEANING), Berger (dekes at pit/brushed/NEEDS CLEANING/rice needs to be rolled), Claypool Pit(dekes out/brushed/NEEDS CLEANING/WATER MOC in pit!), East Rayburn(brushed/dekes out/needs cleaning). West Rayburn and LOST pit havn't been touched yet.
Again, great work guys and I look forward to seeing you all saturday. A couple things to remember to bring next saturday...picklebuckets and scoops for bailing, snips/cutters for snipping the excess zip tie off, and a flat shovel/rake for getting the pits squeaky clean.

Great job guys! Good turnout, great team play and dry fields made for quick work of pit brushing, cleaning and decoys. We still have a lot to go this next weekend and maybe we'll be able to turn on the big screen or chase speckle bellies on the 15th if we keep up this good pace. Bring kids, family, neighbors, whoever will be leaning on you this year for guest privileges to the next work day so we can knock it out.
Please do a rain dance with your families for the next three weeks as we are as dry as we were last year this time and it's not pretty or easy pumping up 3,000 acres from the dust.
Cya Thursday night-HZ
