WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I have a thought to share.
Over the next two weeks I would like to pick up the decoys at the South House pit and maybe another less hunted pit to lessen the load after the season comes to a close.
what is the general response of the club?
My next question is what to do with the sinkers that Grover mentioned.
My suggestion would be to bag up the good decoys and only save the weights off the sinkers.Obviously pick the sinkers and not leave them out there.
I know this sounds wasteful, but the time and effort it takes to repair a sinker is time consuming. The 3 rivers flock needs good decoys not repaired old ones that are subject to sinking all over again.
I think that only keeping the good floaters is smart and will prove to be a better looking spread in the long run.

cut the weights off and we need to figure out what to do with the sinkers...but I don't think repair is an option. Having spent some time trying that in the past, its time consuming and ineffective. What you have after all the time and effort is still just another sinker.

let the kids use them for target practice, and then we can feed them to the big, green monster.
Just a thought,
