Three Rivers AR Dove Hunt Opening Weekend September 6 & 7/2008
A month from now, we'll be in the dove field having target practice on the quick flyers, dialing in the lead preparing for the green wings this Fall. For the last four years, we have had good luck in AR in the dove field. It's no accident that we've done well, because the farmer does everything in his power to make the dove show up in force. Last year, the wardens said the fields where we hunted had the highest concentration of dove in NE AR.
This year's dove hunt will be similar to last year, where we meet for coffee and a light breakfast around 5 AM and leave by 5:45 to the field, 5 minutes away. Also, the same rules apply with children under 15 being free and everyone else pays $100 and is welcome to hunt all weekend.
This invitation is being sent out to Three Rivers members and friends so RSVP back to me with how many spots you would like to reserve and names of your guests, but when you reply with your spots, they are reserved and you owe $100/head, rain or shine. I've got a lot of logistics to consider, so please respond ASAP and I'll let you know if we are full by the time that you respond with your spots.
Also, when you arrive, go ahead get in an organized line on the road for exit so that we can depart with no hassles and see map attached to "the doghouse cafe" that's about an hour from the bridge.
Email me if you can make the hunt.
Look forward to seeing everyone in the field soon-Hunter

Cant wait
Jake and I can't be there after all. I have to be in Nashville the night before and he has his first soccer game of the year that morning.
