Take your trash with you!
Please remember to take your trash out of the pit when you leave the pit. I hunted a pit Sunday that had a trash can over flowing with trash.

all the comments...I hunted North Bridge for the first time this year last Sunday and have to agree. I don't normally pack in a trash bag large enough to contain the overflowing trash can that was in the pit. But I guess I will have to start bringing a large "yard trash" bag in since it appears folks are not taking there trash from the pit. It's nice that it was all in the trash can, but why all that for someone to try and pack out?

House pit, however it looked like more than one days worth of trash so I dont want to call anyone out that hunted the day before I hunted because it may have already been there. I will say this it was to much to carry out without a large trash bag.
Well since Hunter talked about the trash issue at lenght let me chime in. Last Saturday in South Robets...Some "Trash Whore" left their trash and several empty beer cans in the pit. Bud Light to be exact! Eat your snacks, enjoy your Ho Ho's, but if you're drinking in a pit while hunting I'm going to laugh my arse off at you when something stupid happens because you're to stupid to know that drinking and guns don't mix. Perhaps an AA meeting is better suited for you.
Not knocking a drink or two, not knocking you if you enjoy a cold one, but riding ATV's and hunting in a steel box with others is NOT the place. Just think about it please. It would be a horriable memory on our season for someone to get hurt over an act of poor judgement. Especially one that could have been avoided.
My 2 cents,
Randy

Mike, just don't say you hunted "some" pit and it had trash in it... Call the trash whores out! Tell us what pit it was, and when you were in it. This will help make people more awaire of the slobs they are!!!! There is NO shame in calling someone out over the internet... You bet your 12 gauge that I will...
