Coming in on Wed.should I bring a boat & look for open water with all the cold weather locking things up for a while?? 1st year in the area & was just curious what everyone does when ice comes for a period?

is great advice and adapt. Having a boat available is not a bad option. I have whacked and stacked on the St Francis river when it stayed open during a deep freeze.

I agree with Greg, except for the mighty Mississippi I'd say most water in Arkansas is gonna lock up!

Just left today. Lots of ducks in our dry bean fields. I'd bring the layouts and spend some time scouting.
