Oh Glorious Day!!!
After 6 years of HARD CORE hunting, I have finally killed a banded duck!!! I went down to my Uncle's rice farm south of Forrest City and smacked a big fat mallard. The duck gods have smiled upon me... yea!!!

Wow, what a treat and I'm so jealous, been years for me to actually get to put one on my lanyard. It's been a couple years I've been on a hunt where one was harvested. I'm due, but starting to think it will never happen again and wondering if they have run out of cheese and just aren't banding as many. It sure would be handy to see a report of banding program and any trends. Anybody have any info?
However a transmitter diver duck was taken at the swamp a few weeks ago, so if you see a duck that doesn't move on the tracker and it looks like it's in Memphis, I bet it's in the freezer, hehe.

Someone deleted Anchorman from the TIVO!
As soon as somebody retevos it, please let me know so I can come over and watch it after about 5 back to back showings of the deer hunt video.
I will accept a chair in the den and ya'll and turn my phone off and duct tape me into it so I can finally watch the entire movie for the first time.
I'm still trying to figure out what "lamp" means.
I'll have plenty of time this weekend, miss ya'll-HZ

It gets me to wondering... Was someone looking to pick a fight?

in progress for me for a few years....GRATZ Iceman, its a great feeling to see that twinkle for the first time...(or even the 2nd, 3rd, 4th.....shucks, the truth is, it NEVER gets old!!)
