Looking for the Great Outdoors in Memphis?

If you live in Memphis and you want to cultivate outdoorsy-ness in your young kids, take a look at the Wolf River Greenway.
In a great family outing yesterday, Ben rode his bike up and down the paved path of the Greenway while Kristy and I walked at our own pace.
It was a great nature outing as such things go, since we saw a deer, a box turtle, and AntLions!! It was awesome feeding them some ants! I haven't seen antlions since I went to Fall Creek Falls as a kid. They're amazingly cool.
The nicely paved path was also a great place to teach Ben to "stay to the right!" side of the path as bikers whizzed by.
