THE GREEN HEAD BANDIT!

well we were having a slow hunt at alabama when we managed to get a nice group of mallards work in. we knocked down a few one green head inpaticular fell a long way out at least 100 to 150 yrds and the dog didnt mark it. so we tried to send him on a blind but due to the high wind he could hear the comands. we could see the rascal waddling across that field in a hurry. i was fixing to get out and try to go get him and michael said someones dog is after ur duck. i looked up and to my susprise it wasnt a dog but a very large fully plumed out BALD EAGLE!!! i couldnt believe it he was plane as day as he sat down and enjoyed my duck. we watched him for about 5 mins. it was awsome. he did how ever scare off any ducks that thought about working soon as they say him they were gone. there was some shooting close and he got up sored around a while set back down for 4 more mins and was gone again. i also watched him fly over a flock of geese on the ground and watched them scramble to get away like there tail was on fire. it was a great experience. i have heard they were in the are but never have or thought i would see one. it was a cool experience to see such a majestic bird up close and in action.
