Duck mounts
Does anybody know the guy in Harrisburg that mounts ducks? Know a number or address? Greg Reddman says he is good and fast. Haven't seen Greg to get the info. Can anyone help?

Alan- There is a guy in Harrisburg that does mounts for $100 and takes less than a year. He had done several birds for me and does a good job. However, if it was a once in a lifetime bird I would not take it to him....

Hey thanks Keith, I will see if I get back up to H/burg if I can catch him and check out his mounts. Went to a guy in Collierville, and he absolutely ruined my mounts. Had a canvasback mounted and it looks like someone had it in the attic and threw darts at it for years. Thanks for your help.
is good, but not fast. He is always in hburg during season, but lives in Olive Branch, MS. Let me know if you need his number.
Hey Greg, I remember you saying something about this guy, but couldn't remember where he was. I have a goose and a Mallard (banded) Drake I want to have mounted, Thought I would just take it up to H/burg while I was hunting but haven't been hunting much.... I'll get with you on the info. Thanks a bunch.
He's good, but I think he's up to $225. Sonny Bowers is another good one in the same price range.
Good luck-HZ

Sonny is the absolute best...hands down.
For example, Sonny mounted a black duck of mine over 12 years and it looks as awesome today as the day I first hung it on the wall.
I use him exclusively.
Over the last 10 years, he has mounted a pair of wood ducks, a bull pintail, a drake grey duck, a green wing and a blue wing teal, a drake shoveler, a drake bald pate, a hooded saw bill, a snow goose, two drake redheads and a couple of greenheads for me.
He has an incredible eye for detail and realism.
You will not be disappointed.
His number is (901)737-9536.
Wheeeeeeeep!

Thanks Joel, I will give him a call and see if I can check out his mounts. Sounds like you have quite the collection of ducks. I have learned my lesson on going for cheap taxidermists. Thanks for the info.
Thanks HZ. I know he is probably pretty good, and I thought I would just bring my critters up to H/burg to drop them off while I was hunting, but haven't hunted much. Hey, call me and lets have lunch or get together on your crib to see what you are going to do. Thanks for everything.
