Don't be a slacker!

Okay boys, floods, ice, tornado's, we don't get make up days..60 days is all we get: good, bad, or ugly.

Last year when Arkansas looked like the Artic Tundra, my team packed up and drove over and spanked some mallards on the ice. Had the entire farm to ourselves.

If you're like me, killing ducks is but a small part of the experience, so don't throw in the towel just yet. Bring the kids over take a little road trip. Drive to Mack's, build a bon fire, cook some dogs on a stick, do something, but make a memory.

Those ducks feed all the time on dry ground up north. Arkansas is unique in it's terrain and having all this flat ground does make it easy to hold water, but I assure you WATER is NOT necessary to kill ducks. I've done it. But this I do know, you can't kill them from your comfort of your Lazy Boy, so come on over.
