Bad day to be a dove

Wow. The dove showed up in force saturday morning at our milo field and the 68 degree windy opener was very refreshing to get out of the big city and see the guys wackin the quick flyers. Based on visiting with folks and multiple runs back to the truck for more ammo, I'd say the average gun shot over 5 boxes and we took home well over 500 dove Saturday morning. If you couldn't make it, make sure you're there in 09. Good to see folks from as far away as GA and so glad we had another productive spot to hunt this year even though many fields haven't been harvested yet due to weather.
Thanks to farmer connections coming through again for the 4th year in a row.....another barrel burner to get us ready for the teal.
