The 3RIV's Den

Spent last Saturday with my friend Steve over at The Den getting things in order and put together in our group's room. Saw Hunter hard at work again adding additional lockers for the club house. Hunter was busy as a beaver trying to stop the mighty Mississippi! The place is looking better and better.

Hard to believe one man, (myself) can need so much crap to hunt ducks. I took a truck FULL of stuff and have at least one more to take over there before season. I do like having a club that allows you to leave your stuff over there...I can literally leave Memphis with tennis shoes and shorts and hunt the next day... That my friends is a wonderful thing.

Still awful quiet on here and I'm looking forward to the chatter. Come on guys, it's in the 40's and the leaves are changing...In my opinion those are the only things needed to get the true waterfowler excited !

I'm off to South Dakota Tuesday for 12 days of waterfowl, pheasant and turkey hunting, and a day trip on the Missouri River catching them Walleye's... a mighty tasty fish I must say. I hope to get my first SD Mallard over a dry corn field too !
