Did not expect a lot this morning but around 7:45 joel and got a group of 20 or so to work. It did not take but 2 more of those groups to get our 8 mallards. By 10 we were cold and wet. The gates on the pit began to freeze so we packed it in. King Oscar sardines rule.slippery roads so stayin for another run at em tues. Bizzo

my afternoon hunt started at 1 and was over at 1:15. I jumped into sec 2 pit and proceeded to work a group of mallards that numbered 100 plus. I put 4 on the water. the cool thing was this. all 4 put their heads in the water and drank. so i eased up and killed 2 with one shot and the other 2 next. so yes new ducks are around. tired now so more later. call me if you want details.

The ducks have done well the last5 days at the riv. Joel and flounder and myself have killed our share and them some. The computer is still down so that is why the logged hunts are slow comin in.

p.s. i hauled out a 30 lb bag of trash out of n bridge. I don't mind at all, just pack your trash out. very simple.(myself included)

Stuck in memphis at work til sunday at noon. If anybody wants to ring in the new year with me, I will be burning a whole lot of crap in the kitchen. maybe go to seaworld. see ya! I will be there all week.

It is cold.Garrison got his nickname 4 years ago in just the same conditions.Typically the riv kills very few ducks in a deep cold. The thaw is when birds usually make it back into the area. So Merry Christmas and see ya on the evening of the 25th for another 5 day run.
P.S. Addison is aware of his 4 wheeler at the club.
