just a quick flash from the past....
if you want to go on a great hunt in the fields, just watch the weather and go when there is a good fog settin in. I have been on many hunts when the fog was super thick. It is so cool to hear the ducks within 30 yards and then they appear out of nowhere. If you haven't experienced that then it is time.

You see that we have have fun with blogs.
But on a serious note the time for games ends when opening day arrives.
The ducks receive a firm kick in the keester on opening day. An average daily total for opening day is 120 to 150 birds. So stay with us til November and watch the carnage.

The work load of decoys was done last year.so be thinkin of small projects around the main riv clubhouse we can do. From bathroom touch up to kitchen sink fix up. let me know your thoughts.

Yesterday marked the 6 month spot on the calender until opening day. If the season opens on Nov 17 of 08 this is the magic number. Every year rumors will start to roll about lower bag limits and shorter seasons, I do not see anything changing from last year. The only change I have heard tossed around is the breaks in the middle of the season.
So start now talking to your family and wives so they will understand that you will be gone the entire week of Nov 17,only to show up for some turkey and dressing and leave soon afterwards. more »
