Hey Guys,
I shared a really nice hunt with Jeb and Michael on Sunday morning.
At 10 birds, the haul was pretty good compared to what most of Poinsett County experienced that morning.
With the exception of the infrequent close-up birds, it was a great day to be out hunting with both gun and camera... the light was great. Best of all, my hunt parters, Jeb and Michael, were lots of fun to hunt with (and they did all the calling, hauling and retrieving!).
Like many of you, one of my favorite parts of any hunt is watching the dog-vs-bird game of wits. Our floor show on Saturday was Max vs. The Scaup! I was fortunate to snap a shot at the very moment Max is chomping down on his quarry after a long back-and-forth game of chase with the very athletic Scaup!

i was glad u accepted our invite we very much enjoyed u hunting with us.... we did have a great time and a fantactic hunt!. i really wish u would have been there mon morning. we had 3 teal in the decoys at 10 yrds and 2 about 5yrds.. 5 mins before shooting hrs and they were very vocal just peeping away. that and about every bird we did kill was a diving retrieve.pic are great u did and awsome job.... look forward to the next time we can get out there now that we broke ur jinx! lol
