Passing of the Godfather

Around lunch, Sunday March 11, 2012 Larry finally passed. Most pancreatic cancer patients live less than 6 months, but he fought for 14 months. He did so we could enjoy him longer and we did. I've never met a 60+ year old man that natuarally built wisdom into the younger generation like he did. He touched many folks lives with honest wisdom and "nothing in it for him" care. He always shocked me with his generosity and kindness for new comers and it was so refreshing everywhere he went.
I could ramble a long time, but no words could do justice for the respect and love I have have for Larry and his family. I'm just glad his suffering is over and his earthly body is put to rest.

Visitation is tuesday night 6-8 @ Jackson's funeral home Harrisburg
Service is Wed @ 2 pm with graveside afterwards. Please come to support the family.

Hunter, I just have to say, I have never met a nicer, more caring individual as Larry. He treated my kids as if they were his own. He always had room for others to join in. After losing both of my parents to cancer, I can say it is a horrible disease, that can take a loved one by surprise. Knowing his pain is over, and that he was well loved, and he is now with his heavenly father, we can all rest assured, that he is there smiling down. He will be terribly missed, but I thank you, and his precious wife, for the time I got to know him. We will be Praying for his family, and you. Thanks Larry, for the precious time you shared with us...
