House Issue

We've got to do a better job of keeping the house tidy, outside and inside. Last Sunday, I stopped in @ 2:30 on my way back to Memphis and there was a decent amount of trash in the back yard and the back door was unlocked! A lot of lights were on, two heaters were left on and it wasn't cold outside and the inside of the house wasn't something to be proud of. At the minimum, make sure the doors are locked and not be wasteful of utilities.
Sorry to lecture, but we lease that house and our landlord stops by occasionally to check in. All it will take is them coming by on a bad day and they'll say, "we've decided not to lease this house to you anymore" and that will be the end of a great clubhouse. The house is a reflection of what kind of folks we are to the locals and our landlord.
Let's take some pride in a great house and keep it clean. Early next week, I'm having a maid service come to the house and clean. This weekend, let's do a power clean and throw away everything that isn't being used(inside and out), wash the all linens and straighten enough so that I'll be able to get the maid to come back.

Thanks for your help and I think you'll see a neat clubhouse is a lot more enjoyable for everyone.

Let me know if you have suggestions about how to help keep the place tidy at all times.

If this post is offensive to you, please call me to discuss as sometimes in print, things come accross different than intended-HZ
