Prior to starting the workday this coming Saturday,,,it just so happens that Specklebelly Season (Whitefronts) opens on Nov 14th as well. Several people approached me tonight at the meeting and expressed and interest in going, so I need an idea of how many are planning to chase the Specks (Filet Mignon of the Sky) this Sat. Shooting time will be about 0610 and you will need to be in a pit by about 0545. Please respond to this post if you are planning to hunt the Specks (or call/email/text me). I need an approximate head count to know how many pits to scout and line up...
You will need your own decoys or be planning to go with someone who has decoys. I will be in a pit at 0545 then back to TRIV clubhouse by 8am to get the workday started. If you show up earlier than 8 to work call me and I will get you directed out to a pit for decoy work....

my son and i are coming over Friday plan to hunt specs--then work.
Please advise which pit so I can find before saturday in the dark. I have 20 rags and 6 full body flocked specs.
My spec calling is weak at best but should work>

We will decide the plan on which pits tomorrow afternoon/evening. I will be sleeping at the Three Rivers clubhouse on hwy 14 tomorrow. Right now it looks like we have enough interest for two pits. You'll have help finding the pit so don't worry bout that....

My dad is coming over Friday night to hunt Specks on Sat and then help with some work.
Can you contact him (901-619-3103) and tell him the plan? (He doesn't have a username on the webpage.)
