Florida keys fishing

I went fly fishing in the Florida keys. We went for bone fish, and permit but the cloudy weather really shut us down. So we chased sharks on the fly and I caught this little gem!

Heath that is AWESOME! Is that a baby hammerhead you're holding in the pic?!

MOO,
SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK. NO ITS CALLED A BONNETT HEAD. DONT ASK ME WHY. I DID SEE MULTIPLE SPECIES OF SHARKS WHILE THERE. THE MOST SCARRY IS CALLED A BULL SHARK. THEY ARE THE LEAST PREDICTABLE AND VEEERRRYYY AGRESSIVE!!!!! WE CAUGHT SOME BAIT FISH CUT THEM UP AND CHUMMED AN AREA AND THE BULL SHARKS SCARED ME!!!! OTHERWISE IT WAS A LOT OF FUN.

Wow, I've never even heard of a bonnet head shark! How big do they get?

I've never been near a bull shark, but I keep hearing that they're very aggressive, and one of the few sharks that can tolerate brackish and even a certain amount of fresh water, so they're more of a threat to people than most other sharks.

Sweet baby jaws!
I went bass fishing a few weeks ago for my first time in years.....forgot how much fun it is when they are bitin. Need to go next spring when they are really hungry and it's not 95 degrees.
