Woke up to ice, positivity flowing. Had a great pit. Weather front of cold finally here, perhaps some ducks? 6 of us busted ice. No ducks. Set up 7 dozen full bodies. No ducks. Set up 8 robos. No ducks. Used Argo and ranger and cleared out 200 yard hole. Looked great. No ducks. Cleaned ice off of 75 regular spread decoys. No ducks. Went to Betty's for hot meal at 9. No ducks. Came back out re-energized . No ducks. Beautiful sunny skies and wind. No ducks. Looked to be randy Neely over in the next pit. No ducks. great fellowship and snacks. No ducks. Talking about josies tonight . No ducks. Saw a few geese. No ducks. Pit is not full of water and is brushed great. No ducks. Maybe another 30 minutes. No ducks. Can't wait To get warm by the fire. Dog is ready to retrieve. No ducks.

It's really a pretty song, and I have no doubt I'll hear the sound of you singing it from a duck blind in the near future.

Reminds me of the old John Denver song "I Took Two Shots, Got No Ducks, and Cold Cold Hands". Anybody else out there goofy enough and old enough to know that song?
Anyway, I'm positively almost certain we'll get them today.

We scratched out 6 in S Bridge.... All between 3 and 4. Killed 1 Mallard, 1 Pintail and downed 4 Spoonies in one group!
