Band!

Just thought I would share the news. My son Denver shot a mallard hen with a band. He is extremely excited. I, however am proud, but extremely jealous. All these years and i have no band! he doesn't even have a dang lanyard to carry it on.. i mean come on.. All kidding aside, it was an awesome experience we won't forget.

the story behind it:
Myself and my other son went to food giant for more shells, when apparently the mallards swarmed the pit. Denver stayed with Marc to trade shots with the few remaining shells. Of course when we returned there were about 7 mallards dead and one banded one. They were taking turns and only 2 shots each to ration out shells. Marc called them in and shot the green head and Denver shot the hen. Hen was banded. Marc's pit draw, dog, calling, and shells, but Denver's band!!
