Are the pits able to be pumped? Long way to go if they can't even be pumped. Any news would be appreciated.

I am not arriving till afternoon tomorrow. I confirmed South House. if someone wants it for morning hunt go ahead. If under water and can't be pumped i will be looking for another. if anyone is hunting morning only let me know what's open for evening. Thanks!

I think the river is starting to crest, but s. house will be a bit before it's pumpable. that's not to say that you can't layout on levees, but there are plenty of other huntable pits.
Ducks are scattered, but could turn on at any moment with this beautiful weather. I love needing sunglasses after our cloudy opening first season!
See ya'll at Josies Saturday night.

What's the rest of the farm look like? I have a idea South House is flooded. It went under the last Satutday of the first week. I've heard Shop may be under as well. I was told it was within 2 inches from flooding that same weekend.

Give us an idea so we can make plans on what can be pumped and what can't.

Come on over. We've got more pits than hunters in town from what I've seen.
At the moment, 4 pits at section 2 are huntable

with 3" rain opening week, then 5" snow a week ago, then 4" rain Monday....i'm guessing that they are doubling as large bath tubs. when it rains, it pours. last year this time, we were begging for it.
