Shout Outs to everyone for another great workday Saturday. Once again we rocked accomplishing major work. Some, but not an all inclusive list, of the work done:

-Started the day cutting and bundling several hundred rice bundles for brushing

-New 16 ft bench planks purchased (Thanks Matt B for the Jboro run), 5 new benches installed on pits that were missing a bench. Berger, ClayPool's, East Rayburn, Alabama and North Roberts(N Roberts bench was too short held up on one end by a cinderblock and has been annoying OCD hunters like myself for years). Incidentally, what in the heck happens to a pit bench in the off-season....I mean, where would it go?? sigh

-HousePit squeeky cleaned and brushed. Decoys are out, still needs to be flagged.

-All of the ClayPool Section pits were deep cleaned with scoops, "pickle-buckets", and shovels (Nathan, Dakota, Alan Wagner & Hayden Wagner in my group were awesome help thank you); nasty work, that!

-All Section Two Pits were flagged

-All ClayPool Section Pits were flagged

-On Sunday, Stiles the Welder (Andy B and myself as welder's bitches), installed all new gates on Heeb Res Pit and fixed the gates on North Roberts (THANKS STILES). Heeb Res was also pumped and bailed/shoveled dry.

-Portable blinds placed at Heeb Reservoir (one portable still has to be moved to Swan Pond Ditch).

Anyone feeling really ambitious and wanting to work during the week? The easiest thing to do would be brushing the gates on either Heeb Res Pit or North Roberts. Call Hunter (351-5296 or myself 351-5893) for more detailed instructions.

Again, thanks for all the hard work and we are way ahead of the game. Looks like there will be time for goose hunting on Sat!
