New waders for myself and ammo to spare. Last year I shot some hevi-shot for a while and I think it made a difference. But I still like the fasteel that goes 1550 fps.
All my gear is put in the extra room in my house ready to go.
So get your stuff organized and ready to go.
Also the snack of choice will be mtn dew and boiled eggs with salt.
actually grover is going to boil some eggs and put them in a big jar for everybody.

A short story by AG: After someone found out I was a duck hunter and had a peculiar sense of humor, they asked me if I had ever seen a hunting video series by T.K. and Mike. Curiosity took over and I went out and discovered a full 10+ DVD by these dudes at Bass Pro. So I bought one and watched it. Yea, it was somewhat funny maybe a "4" on a 1 to 10. But hell, it is nowhere close to hunting with EGG, watching Grover eat, listening for Joel's comments, just watching Farley be Farley, or getting HZ sauced on the happy juice. more »

I apologize for the firm hack. I was encouraged by our friend egg, who was sitting right beside me. I was making a point for next year and trying to make The Riv a little nicer. We had a blast. We caught fish, cooked good food, tubed down the river. We had a little whiskey, little natty and grooved to the sounds of the river. Dave, Hunter, Mike H, Booger, Chris Feidler oh ya and Eggs and a few other, i think will tell you to come to the next riv river trip. It was the Perfect Hunter Trip if you know what I mean.
