Thoughts about our first little mini season

1. Wow we smoked em!! Good work getting folks moved around in the hot pits.
2. Second of all, I attribute a lot of our success to having more water than anyplace in AR during the 30 year record breaking drought.
3. If you have any doubt of the quality of our lease, ask around.

Back to point number 2. We worked around the clock for weeks preparing for the dry conditions and you can't imagine how expensive it was. I don't like bringing it up again and again, but I still have several folks that haven't paid the water assessment. Please mail me a check or slip it to me next week if you can make it back over for the second opener. Bills are coming in an I don't want to be a slow pay to the farmers that did a great job for us.

Now onto my final thought. Now the hunting is going to begin. With freezing temps in the forecast and birds spread out in the rivers, it's time to buckle down and sit tight in your pit for the day and hunt hard. When the weather patterns change to cold or rainy or high winds, get to the club for perhaps the best season of our lives.

Looking forward to seeing what the good Lord brings down the flyway next week.
